She had a long life (94), did so many incredible things and had an amazing journey. We will miss her but remember her kindness forever.
So, I'm now officially an adult but will never let go of my inner child.
SheenaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7357643264891147848.post-84766067906650059872015-02-27T22:13:34.443+00:002015-02-27T22:13:34.443+00:00Thanks Les and Jaq. It's good to be back. You ...Thanks Les and Jaq. It's good to be back. You take so many things for granted living in a house, that the daily magic of life and its little rituals loses some of its reality and vitality. I love carrying the days water, generating our own electricity, and moving our home. Never thought it was possible to be and feel this free in the 21st century, now that most people are living in towns and cities. They're welcome to them!

I used to be a news buff too. With a keen interest in politics and geopolitics. Still like to keep an interest in current affairs, though sadly, religious war, violence and intolerance seem to predominate the headlines these days. Have you been upriver to Mapledurham? There is a llama and alpaca farm there. It's great to see hundreds of them running around in the fields.Ken and Sheenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10940301736759034671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7357643264891147848.post-35287717515168639712015-02-27T18:45:47.949+00:002015-02-27T18:45:47.949+00:00Wow! He too eschews newspapers and news in general and agrees it is best to stay out of the clutch of greedy governments. A bit of fuel VAT now and again is acceptable.

I on the other hand find myself typical of most Americans--I'm a selective news junkie. I sit each morning over coffee with Les and read NPR's (National Public Radio) web site which is my home page. Today the big news came out of Arizona where two Llamas escaped from work and were on the Llam. A news helicopter actually filmed footage of the two animals loose on the streets. I love the reader commentary at the bottom of the piece which had both Les and I in tears of laughter. Not a bad way to begin the day. I choose NPR for my news because they also report on some of the amazing, wondrous and positive things in this world.

We are sorry about Sheena's mom. May she RIP. Welcome back to the boat--it's good to know you are there.
Jaq and LesXXLes Biggshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06200731053479474814noreply@blogger.com
